Houston, Texas · Hardware · Firmware · Software

Electronics that survive where nothing else does.

We design and build custom electronics for the hottest, deepest, and most remote places a product has to work — from small-scale custom projects all the way up to downhole/pipeline tools, geothermal instrumentation, and aerospace subsystems.

What We Do

Give us the “what”, we’ll work out the “how”

You tell us what you need, we design and build it against an agreed-upon budget and timeline, and the intellectual property stays yours from start to finish — we're happy to help you secure it with the U.S. Patent Office, too!

Prototyping

We hand you everything you'd need to build the product yourself, from the first schematic through to a manual.

  • Schematics, drawings, and assembly instructions
  • Custom hardware, firmware, and software
  • Physical prototypes for temperature and integration testing
  • User and developer manuals

Transition To Production

Once the design is proven, we stay on to get it built at volume, working directly with your board house so nothing gets lost in translation.

  • Interface with PCB manufacturers on your behalf
  • Quick-turn manufacturing support
  • Functional and qualification testing of built units
  • Over-the-air update paths for fleet firmware

Starting 2027

Engineers On Contract

Starting in 2027, you'll be able to bring our engineers onto your own projects for a set number of hours a week, which spares you the cost and the risk of hiring for a role you may only need for a season.

  • Hardware, firmware, and software specialists
  • Time-based contracts, hours per week over a set term
  • Production and supply: pre-flashed, tested, ready to install

Capabilities

The hard parts, already solved.

When the heat, the pressure, or the sheer distance rules out anything off the shelf, chances are good we've built it before!

Power

  • Buck and boost converters
  • Isolated converters
  • AC/DC conversion
  • Supplies up to 5 kW
  • Ultra-low quiescent current

Telemetry

  • Wi-Fi and Bluetooth
  • Cellular and satellite
  • I²C, SPI, CANbus
  • Custom wireline transceivers

High Temperature

  • Microcontrollers
  • Oscillators and memory
  • Analog front-ends for HPHT sensors
  • Motor drivers

Reliability

  • Simulation before manufacturing
  • Trusted supply chains with alternates
  • Custom test hardware and firmware
  • Diagnostic terminals and error tracking

Geothermal

Ultra-High Temperature Logging Tool

Built to read temperature and pressure in geothermal wells at 400 °C and 15 kPSI, with electronics that keep running at 210 °C for a hundred hours at a stretch. It took the 2022 American-Made Geothermal Manufacturing Prize out of a field of eighty companies, and it's manufactured at Oak Ridge National Laboratory.

Oil & Gas

Pipeline Inspection Suite

We spent five years alongside this client building out a full suite of inspection tools, among them a leak-detection method that measures directly rather than inferring, which was a first for the industry, along with high-resolution geometry, fluid quantification, and bend and strain analysis drawn from onboard inertial measurement.

Aerospace

Cargo Smoke Detector Interface

The hardware and firmware behind a subsystem that lets an aircraft's safety system talk to a new generation of cargo-bay smoke detectors, now flying on a commercial narrow-body fleet.

FAA certified Subcontract role

Downhole

Pressure-Activated Trigger

A battery-powered trigger for wireline or slickline that waits for the pressure it was told to watch for, starts the timer it was given, and does both reliably at 175 °C on a current draw small enough to sit downhole for a good long while.
